Sales engineer Germany and Austria
Envicontrol is a leading supplier of atmospheric research and metrology to the European Community. Members of our staff work with clients in various applications, including weather and climate research, weather modification, aircraft icing certification, air quality monitoring, detection of pollen, and other bioaerosols. We seek a full-time Sales Engineer for the German and Austrian Markets to support our continued growth.
Due to the nature and the variety of activities, we seek a diligent, dedicated, and meticulous person. The successful individual will plan their schedule to meet their sales goals, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, coordinate work with others in a team environment, maintain a professional presence, and desire to take ownership of critical opportunities.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and drive sales opportunities through the entire sales process, from identifying new sales opportunities (existing customer expansion, new customers, and new markets) through after-sales training and support
- Regularly visit existing and potential customers to understand their needs directly and develop tailored sales proposals
- Understand and communicate VoC and other opportunities to the organization
- Promote Envicontrol interests by participating in scientific conferences with presentations, demonstrations, and exhibitions.
Profile and Required Skills:
- Capable of initiating and developing relationships with prospective (and existing) clients, analyzing their needs to identify and develop solutions to those needs
- Capable of communicating performance and compelling business case(s) for complex instrumentation to prospective clients
- Demonstrated success in selling technology and deal negotiations
- Flexible and willing to travel >70%
- College education and a master's degree in a technical field such as engineering, climatology, chemistry, and/or metrology is preferred
- Languages: fluent German and English required
